In the recent years, our democracy has taken a devastating turn. The orange man that is in office is attempting to turn our democracy into a dictatorship right in front of our eyes. For some reason, many still follow him but, thankfully, MANY oppose his heinous actions.
Today, June 14, 2025, I was lucky enough to be part of the No Kings protest in New York City. With it being a few blocks down from my apartment, there was no way I was missing it. I knew it was something I HAD to do; I am thankful to be on the right side of history.
The energy was electric and everyone there was fighting for a purpose. There was no violence; everything was extremely organized and peaceful.
